County government exists to protect essential resources and to regulate development in an orderly way that safeguards the environment and the general welfare of all citizens—not gamble with them. District 2 deserves a County Commissioner who simply has the courage to say 'NO' when a project threatens neighborhoods, property values, or entire communities.
Are you a resident of District 2? My campaign to represent the residents of District 2 is not about ideology or politics as usual. It's about responsibility and being a good steward of this place, we call Home.
As one of the most beautiful parts of Washington County, District 2 is also one of the largest rural areas in the County and home to small, peaceful agricultural communities such as Limestone, Broylesville, Washington College, Chuckey, and portions of Jonesborough and Telford, to name a few.
